Achieve Treks & Expedition — trekking site and CMS
First digital presence for a new trekking company: trips, guides and the Great Himalaya Trail on a localised Strapi CMS in English and Korean.

Background
Achieve Treks & Expedition is a Nepali trekking and climbing company that started with no website at all. It needed to earn trust from international trekkers on day one, and a big part of its pitch is the Great Himalaya Trail.
Ottr designed and built the site. I built the Strapi CMS that runs it and integrated the frontend with it.
The problem
A new brand with no reputation has to win on content: real guides, detailed itineraries, clear prices and policies. The team had to be able to edit all of it themselves, in more than one language, including a growing Korean market.
Approach
- Content model for regions, trips, expeditions, the Great Himalaya Trail by segment, guides with profiles, seasons, reviews, blogs, enquiries and subscriptions.
- Localised content in English and Korean through Strapi i18n, so each language is edited as its own version rather than translated at render time.
- Custom endpoints for search and category counts so the site can filter trips by region, activity and difficulty without over-fetching.
- Enquiries and guide requests send email through Brevo; media goes to S3. SEO, sitemap, redirects and WebP plugins configured in the CMS.
- Staging deploys over SSH with PM2 from GitHub Actions, with a Discord message on every deploy.
- On the Next.js site: home, guides, support and navigation wired to the CMS with TanStack Query.
Outcome
- Live at achievetreks.com, edited by the client's team without developer help.
- Client: 'We were highly impressed with Ottr Technology's professionalism, expertise, and creativity in building our website.'
